I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
Kelvin and I met in Saudi Arabia 15 years ago and have been great mates every since. He moved to Melbourne (supposedly to be closer to me) and I so happened to move to Perth at the same time! He hasn't let it go and keeps pleading for me to return to Melbourne. Ahh the man love. I introduced Kelvin to MTBing a few years ago. Only recently he has decided to take it to the next level and started racing endurance events. He's lost alot of weight and I thought I'd enter this race with him to push him even further. My greatest fear is him surpassing my level! He's a good bloke and very determined but I'm hoping I'll be waiting for him at the top of every climb! The only unfortunate thing is that we can't train together due to being on opposing ends of the country but I really can't wait to do this race with him.
