I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
Having completed the 2012 Epic, but having suffered significantly, I wanted to re-experience this incredible race better prepared. Last year I also rode in memory of a close friend who passed away only 3 weeks before the race from a brain tumour. She had wanted to ride the Epic this year so instead I will do it for her and raise money for Cancer research for which we have establised a charity. Claire, you are in all of our thoughts ! The mountain has no chance RQ ! Please ride on my shoulder once again.
