Why Riding: From the 15th of March 2015 I will be participating in the (in)famous Cape Epic Mountainbike Race taking place in the Cape Region of South Africa. 739km with 16000m of climbing over 8 days of riding. Undoubtedly the biggest physical challenge that I have ever attempted, I feel truely blessed that I do have the opportunity to even try. To express my deep thankfulness and pay back to the community that allows us to ride through beautiful South Africa I am supporting the local cause of Qhubeka. Qhubeka helps people move forward and progress by giving bicycles in return for work done to improve communities, the environment or academic results. Having a bicycle changes lives by increasing the distance people can travel, what they can carry, where they can go and how fast they can get there. I would like to give at least 10 bicycles to the communities supported by Qhubeka and your kind donations will greatly help to achieve that goal and keep me motivated through the 8 days of riding!
