I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
After crossing the finish line at Meerendal on 22 March I felt a great sense of accomplishment. The Absa Cape Epic is certainly the highlight of my mountain biking career and when I was asked if I would do it again in 2016 I did not hesitate to team up with Mark and get training again. It is the ultimate achievement and really does test ones mental and physical toughness. Doing this race can get into a person's blood!
Best Results:
Sani2C got me into mountain biking 8 years ago and along the way I have completed numerous stage races including Wines2Whales, Berg and Bush, Garden Route 300 to mention a few. I can also put the Absa Cape Epic 2015 on this list which is certainly my greatest achievement yet.
