I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
I´ve never done any mtb race in my whole life - so i thought: start with the toughest one, existing, to find out how racing really is ;-).
Seriously, i was asked by Tino Kaessner, one of our first sponsored athletes, to join him as a team partner. He has lost one of his legs in Afghanistan and raced as a para-cyclist for 15 years quites successfully. Now he wants to finish his career with Cape Epic as his highlight. So his racing expertise and my motivation will make us a perfect team to cross the finish line in the end.
Best Results:
Don´t have a MTB career, so far. I ride for many years now but only for my personal enjoyment. So this definitely will be the highlight of my career.
