I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
Berfor the 2017 race I was clear - this race is on my bucket list and it will be once in a life time. How wrong I was! Two aged office rats end up as 30th team in Masters Category gave me a drewling appetite for more. And then "I can alwas say no thanks to a lottery win"... Yeah, sure... In 2018 I will be back with new rider buddy, new category, new bike, better preparations and aiming for a better overall position than 2017 (119).
Best Results:
Finishing Cape Epic 2017 as 30 in Masters Category and 119 in total.
A few national long distance races. I know the trip I arrange to W2W October 2018 will be another highlight.
