I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
It was a bucket list item and the toughest sport challenge I have taken on and enjoyed the experience in 2016. As the route changes every year I want to complete another one in a different area

Best Results:
No special highlights, but have completed 4 Wines2Whales, 3Sani2C, 3 Berg&Bush Descents, 2 Dusi2C and one Tankwa Trek stage races. The best 3-day MTB race is Tankwa. Untill I completed the ABSA Cape Epic, the most amazing event I have taken part in was the 2015 Tour de Tuli. The Epic is now top of my list

I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
To me the Epic is the race that measures it all. I finished my first one with my brother, the second one with my dad and now I have the privilege to pursue my dream of joining the Amabubesi finishers' club.

Best Results:
Getting a few podiums in the national series U/23 and winning a provincial title after breaking my back in 2007. Finishing the 2012 Cape Epic with my brother, finishing the 2016 Cape Epic with my dad and publishing a book that was inspired by the Cape Epic.
