I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
i turned 40 and had to do something special. Everest was the second option.
Best Results:
I started in downhill (a couple of wins in my country of origin) when I was a teenager, then enduro, and now xc. I have raced the Breck Epic, TransAndes Challenge, and other one day XCM races. I expect to add more to this list in the coming years.
