How to Enter the 2022 Absa Cape Epic:

The Absa Cape Epic has been oversubscribed every year since inception.

Although entries are limited, there are a variety of ways to reserve your team's spot on the start line:

From early bird entries – which typically sell out instantaneously – to riding for a charitable cause through one of the official charities, to entering the "lottery". You could even complete one of the Epic Series qualifier races. Early bird entries and lottery applications are sold to individuals - hence you don't need to have your prospective partner's details at the time of registration.

2022 Early Bird Entries:

Our 100 early bird slots are available to anyone and typically sell out instantaneously, on a first-come-first-served basis. Early bird entries become available the day after the previous year's race finishes. The advantage is that your entry is secured immediately and you have a full year of training available.

To secure an entry you will first need to be signed into your Absa Cape Epic online profile and then you will need to apply for the appropriate entry type. Should you not yet have a profile please create your unique profile and ensure your details are correct (including ID number or Passport) as this is unique and linked to your ID number or Passport number.

2022 Lottery Entries:

Lottery applications are open immediately after the early bird entries are sold out. They are done on an individual basis and you do not need your prospective partner's details to enter the lottery.
