Lottery applications are done on an individual basis and you do not need your prospective partner's details. You must be signed into your profile.
Only one Lottery application per rider is accepted. Both riders in a prospective team can enter the Lottery to increase the chance of being awarded an entry. A ZAR150 or USD10 fee is required to enter the Lottery, which must be paid by credit card before the application is completed.
The first round draw will be on 7 April 2025 and the second round will be 31 May 2025.
Should you be unsuccessful in the first round, you Lottery application will remain valid for the second round.
Each year there are a limited number of Wildcard entries available. These entries are reserved for top riders (e.g. previous podium finishers, World Cup and national champion riders).
These entries sell out quickly and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. The entry fee is due immediately and must be paid by credit card in order to secure the entry. Should you choose the Payment Plan option, the first 50% is due upon registering.
Entries are scheduled to open on 31 March 2025 at 16:00 (GMT+2) and are sold on a first come first served basis.

You might not be able to ride the Absa Cape Epic but you can still be a part of the action by signing up for our volunteer program. Absa Cape Epic volunteers receive a guaranteed entry to the following year's race.
