I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
Above all, riding the Absa Cape Epic is about getting to ride in parts of the Western Cape that are normally not accessible to the public - mountain biking is not all about the bike, but is rather about enjoying the beauty of the routes and views we get to experience through being on a mountain bike, plus the friendships and spirit of adventure shared amongst the riders on such an event. Our team is lucky to be supporting the Think Bike campaign for the 2011 Absa Cape Epic. Think Bike is aimed at raising awareness about cyclists and motor-cyclists, to ensure their safety on our roads. The Think Bike initiative is close to the hearts of every cyclists competing in the Absa Cape Epic, as we all ride on public roads each and every day. Helping to raise the profile of such a worthy initiative is a great honour.
