I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
One of my roadie training partners did the 2006 Epic and stated that it was his greatest accomplishment (Finished 29th). How could I turn my back on a statement like that from such a good cyclist.

None yet - I am still a novice mountain biker and only bought my mountain bike in September 2006 to prepare for the Epic. Had a good ride at the 2007 Argus MTB challenge, so perhaps that is my 'highlight'
