I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
To get it out of my system, because its there and because most men, nowadays, aren't allowed to perform adrenalin stunts such as to hunt dangerous wild animals half-naked armed with only a spear and a couple of buddies or, take part in blood sports such as small battles and territory wars whilst clothed in mud, blood and a small kilt with the skin of an innocent furry animal draped across your shoulders.

I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
It's all a huge misunderstanding, really... when I was offered a 'partnership with a Sneaky Russian' I thought they were talking about a long-legged blonde who spoke no English and would do anything for a ticket out of Estonia (it did seem like a suspiciously good price at the time). I had no idea they were talking about nine days of hell on a leather saddle with a shaven-headed lycra-clad psychopath. Actually, to be fair, the Sneaky Russian is a pretty decent guy when he's off the bike, but I'm still trying to get my money back...
