As a personal challenge. Since I started riding 5 years ago, it has been a dream for me to participate in a race of this type; first to push my limits, second to discover new routes and third to make new friends.

I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
For adventure, and prouved to myself that I am still there.I want to finish with my partner, this is my major motivation.
Best Results:
Been cycling till the age of 15 years old. I have done road cycling for the last 27 years and MTB only 8 years back with my two kids, Junior, who is now 18 yrs old and Seb only 15 yrs old, my greatest satisfaction is that they both enjoy the road and MTB , they have been cycling with me till the age of 5 yrs old. The greatest hits in My MTB career was that I have organised Bi-cross races/ MTB races over 8 years and Race stages(Tour of Mauritius ) for the last 5 years, as from last year , I have decided to past over the hand of organisation to some friends and now , I am comming back to competition to find my place.
