I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
In 2011 i rode the cape epic. I was a real live changer. staying in Cape Town with such friendly people around us it was the best start we could wish. so helpful. on the Saturday stage we crashed that hard the brake levers of my partners bike were both broken. with help of two other riders we managed to arrive at the first service post. there we removed my rear brake and we both rode the remaining 89 kilometers with only a front brake. in the racing park we could use a front wheel and the brakes of a South African friend Tim Dixon. without his help we had not been able to finish the 2011 edition
