I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
My brother and training partner twisted my arm. At the time I had never ridden a bike and had no idea on what sort of physical, mental, and financial commitment it would take to prepare myself for the Epic!

Started mountain biking last year, so I guess all the PPA events of 2009!

Why Riding: Went to one of their charity evening and was absolutly blown away by Songo and his will to uplift the spirit of kids who without a goal would most probably end up in the streets
