Why Riding: Anton Hammerl, A friend and award winning South African photojournalist was killed in Libya during 2011 while covering the war. He left behind three children and I am riding to raise funds for his kids. I also covered to war in Libya as a photographer for an international newsphoto agency and have done one epic before so this seemed like the thing to do to try to help in anyway I could
