Why Riding: We are riding to raise funds and awareness for Missing Children South Africa, a rapid response organization which facilitates the authorities and victims when a child goes missing for any reason whatsoever. As an NPO, Missing Children SA is solely reliant on the goodwill of individuals and corporate entities. Missing Children SA assists the South African Police Service and the respective families/guardians involved when a child/adult goes missing. The first 24 hours after an incident, is the most crucial. The organisation exists to be reactive and to create awareness when a case is reported. Approximately one thousand four hundred and sixty (1460) children go missing each year for various reasons ranging from run-aways and parental abductions malicious intent and human trafficking. It is our aim to make South Africa a safer place for every child.
