I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
It's now become an annual cannot-miss institution for me, like the Argus. I hope to be doing my 21st Epic when I'm 75!

Best Results:
It's not a career, rather a wonderful hobby!
Finishing the 2007 to 2012 Epics and a number of sub 3 Argus races were definitely highlights, but I've also enjoyed many other amazing rides, including long hauls with friends, Trans Bavians races, the Swazi Frontier and the 3 Cape Pioneer Treks.

I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
I got a very late call-up (just after the Attakwas) from Henry Fagan asking if I would like to join him as his partner cannot make it. I always wanted to do the Epic but never made the commitment, until this year. It was an invitation I could not refuse.

Best Results:
Won the Corporate League in 2011 riding with Petrus Malherbe.
