I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
It is very special to share my passion for MTB with my great friend David and other likeminded riders, while experiencing some of the best views our country can offer.

Best Results:
Finishing the 2005 Cape Epic and 2010 Cape Epic with friends Riaan van Niekerk and David Walsh respectively.
Finishing 14th in masters category in 2007 and 2008 Absa Cape Epic with my brother Berend.
Bronze medal in veteran category of 2010 XCO SA Champs.
Finishing 3rd overall in veteran category of 2010 MTN SA National MTB Marathon series.
Finishing 15th in Masters category of 2012 Transalp with friend Peter Stopforth.
1st veteran team (with David Walsh) in Berg and Bush Descent in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Finishing 2nd in Transbaviaans with David Walsh in 2011, and 3rd in 2012.
