Diepsloot MTB Academy

Why Riding: The club is a development project which uses the medium of mountain biking to instill the values of respect (for self and others), hard work and striving for excellence, in under-privileged youth in the Diepsloot area. In addition, to MTB, the club also helps with the development of basic learning skills e.g. reading and math, through reading and tutoring circles. The project has had great success, with 4 riders competing in the 2013 Absa Cape Epic and 6 more competing on the Nissan Trailseeker and Spur School series
