I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
To me the Epic is the race that measures it all. I finished my first one with my brother, the second one with my dad and now I have the privilege to pursue my dream of joining the Amabubesi finishers' club.
Best Results:
Getting a few podiums in the national series U/23 and winning a provincial title after breaking my back in 2007. Finishing the 2012 Cape Epic with my brother, finishing the 2016 Cape Epic with my dad and publishing a book that was inspired by the Cape Epic.
