I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
The Cape Epic event presents itself as one of the best cycling challenges in the world and allows me to renew my stories of 'how fit i used to be' for my kids (haha). Turning 40 in 2015 with a family including 3 kids and real world commitments its great to sink your teeth into an event that fills you with excitement, adrenalin and fun.

Best Results:
Not having been on a mountain bike in the past 10 years my most recent highlight is buying one!!! The Swiftcarbon Evil Twin is my machine of choice and I can't wait to get to know her better. Lets hope the road bike training hasn't been wasted all of these years…..
