The Cape Epic represents the pinnacle of endurance racing, with the toughest competition and course in the world. I'm ready for the challenge!
Best Results:
In 2003, I won the gold medal at the Pan American Games. It was a breakthrough for me. Winning my first National Mountain Bike Series race, in 2004, was incredible. I was the first American in many years to win a cross country event in the series. In 2004, another special moment was winning my first European race, the Voroklini International.

Eighth Place at the 2006 UCI World Championships - Roturua, New Zealand;
Winning the 2007 NMBS - Sugar Mt, North Carolina;
Winning the 2006 NMBS National - Aspen, Colorado;
I was the highest ranked Cross Country Racer in the 2006 USA Cycling Rankings;
Winning the Marathon Cross Country 2005 NMBS - Brian Head, Utah
Winning the Marathon Cross Country 2005 NMBS - Snowshoe, West Virginia;
Winning the Marathon Cross Country 2005 NMBS - Tapatio Springs, Texas;
Winning the 2004 Maxxis Cup International - Pontevedro, Spain;
and finishing sixth overall, with a win in the final stage, in the 2002 TransAlp Challenge.
