I have been road cycling for 15 years but only started mountain biking 12 months ago. Started on a borrowed mountain bike in Hermanus, then had a long weekend north of Johannesburg and a week in Lanzarote. Otherwise its been in the mud around where I live in the UK or up and down a welsh mountain.
