I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
When you start riding mountain bikes, your first BIG challenge end sup being Sani2C. Everyone talks about it, you dream about it, obsess about it and one day conquer it. After doing a Sani and few other stage races, your thoughts inevitably turn to the ultimate race, the Absa Cape Epic. I wasn't expecting it to happen so quick, but here I am. Bring on March 2017.
Best Results:
My first stage race (Sani) was a huge undertaking and I was over the moon when I finished! That kick started my riding and now my resume reads as follows - 3 Sani's, 2 BergnBushes, 3 Wines2Whales, Transbaviaans, Swazi Frontier, Makpans Experience.
