I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
2 reasons: 1. The Gap Partnership was started to 'help people achieve their potential'. I realised at 50 years old I wasn't achieving my potential physically. Epic is a goal to do just that. 2. A very good friend had tried to get me off the road bike onto a MTB for years, he died in a tragic sailing accident, so in his memory I got on the mountain bike, and my life changed. What more fitting memorial than to take on the challenge of Epic . . . Ollie, Ride in Peace!
