I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
The Cape Epic is the pinnacle of mountain biking - massive challenge.
It is a bucket list item.
The preparation is a journey - planning of training sessions and guidance from my coach (Paul Gleed).
Inspired by my mountain bike group (MAMILS), who within the group, have completed several Cape Epic events.
Best Results:
Enjoying the Tygerberg Mountain Bike Club's trails on a Saturday Morning with my group of friends (MAMILS), for the past +/-20 years!!!!

I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
One of my cycling mates (Chris) posed the question during a training ride. The first response had been an emphatic "NO!", but when I opted to offer him the eight reasons for that response two weeks later (during another training ride) his reply "so, you are actually still thinking about it...", sealed the matter.

Cycling with my mates the last twenty odd years...and the many MTB events we finished.
