It's a love affair! Managed to get a lottery entry for 2020 - no explanation required! Returned in 2022 but didn't complete the race as my back was in pieces. Have enter 2025 to make things right.

I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
I Completed the 2022 Epic after Covid ruined 2020 and 2021 for us. My partner never finished so we coming back for round 2. I have since immigrated to the USA, so training for 2025 and coming out of winter straight into the wonderful SA sun will be a challenge in 2025.
Best Results:
Being on the bike for the past 25 years, and completing some challenging events like Trans Baviaans & Trans Elands a few times and training up for the 2020, then 2021 and finally competing in the 2022 cape epic....
