I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
It's a truly bucket list event, which has always sounded like a challenge & an adventure. Geoff (my race partner) was lucky enough to be drawn from the lottery & invited me to join him at a time when I was recovering from injury, and it was exactly the goal I needed to get my drive and focus back!
Best Results:
I've been riding for 10 years and have many highlights that range from learning basic skills (I knew NOTHING when I started) to racing WEMBO 24hr World Champs in 2023. I think my proudest race moment was cracking 300-kms in a 24hr race - that had seemed almost impossible for so long!
