I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
I always said that I would commit to the Absa Cape Epic if I am able to obtain assistance with the event and have the opportunity to link up with an exceptionally strong rider. At an extremely late stage and in the space of a week, this all fell in place.

Career highlight: the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Mont-Sainte Anne, Canada in 2019.
