I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
I had training partners that were training for it, decided that I wanted the medal on my wall one day and managed to scoop a late entry. The Epic is the benchmark event for MTB.. if you tell people that you run, they ask if you've done the Comrades, if you tell people you are into triathlon, they ask if you have done an Ironman, cycling - the Argus and I want an answer when I tell people that I mountain bike.

Best Results:
Races have been good, but I really enjoy the early morning training rides in the forest with mates - definitely the highlight.
