I entered the Absa Cape Epic...
The opportunity to race in a beautiful country while taking on the challenge of a lifetime. Having completed two ironman races I needed the next step and a different type of race to motivate and test me. The opportunity to race with a great friend is an added bonus and adds a new dimension to long distance racing.

Best Results:
Highlights of a very limited MTB career would be adventure and rat racing in Scotland and the North of England. Falling off regularly is also fairly memorable if not a huge highlight!!

I have enjoyed seeing many parts of the world from a bike and the friendships built on these experiences.
